This web application will create, activate, or reactivate your Texas State NetID. Your Texas State NetID is also referred to as your Texas State Username. By using this service you agree to abide by the Texas State Appropriate Use Policy . Read the requirements and instructions below, then press the Continue button to start.
To activate your Texas State NetID, you must be a student currently enrolled at Texas State.
You will be prompted for the following information:
- your Texas State ID number (printed on your Texas State identification card). If you have an older Texas State identification card you may enter your Social Security Number (SSN) instead.
- your CATS Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you have not established your CATS PIN you can create it here.
- a password for your new NetID.
